07/02/08. XCWeather reaches out across the pond.

An American version of XCWeather is now available at WindMapper.com providing all the useful information found here on XCW to our cousins in the USA.

If you know anyone who might find WindMapper.com useful, please consider letting them know. Forums for sailing, wind surfing, kite flying and the like would be ideal candidates but a quick email to anyone who needs to know which way the wind blows would be most appreciated.

I'd also like to say a big thank you to all the visitors who have taken time to support XCWeather over the past six years helping to keep the project alive.

And just so you don't think I've spent all my time on WindMapper.com, I've also been working on interactive maps of the five day forecast which I hope to have ready to go live this summer.
